As a Latter Day Saint you may feel you know what your church teaches, what you believe in and that others just try to lie about what the Church teaches.
Lets start with the “Fullness of the Gospel” what is it? as a Mormon you are probably saying “we have the temple eternal covenants of Eternal Marriage” other religions don’t. According to the Bible there is just the “Gospel” as stated in 1 Corinthians 15:1-5 Paul summarizes what the Gospel is for us he states “Now I want to make clear for you, brothers and sisters, the gospel that I preached to you, that you received and on which you stand, 15:2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold firmly to the message I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. 15:3 For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received—that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, 15:4 and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures, 15:5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.”
Its simple and there is no special “Fullness to it.” The other issue to understand is the “Everlasting Covenant.” Almost every LDS member you meet will say this is eternal marriage and the children who are then conceived are under that covenant to go to heaven and be “Together Forever.” Through study of the LDS Scriptures you will find the “Everlasting Covenant” is Polygamy, yes Polygamy. This is explained In D&C that states Polygamy is commanded and must be practiced. “Click Here” (Utah Light House Ministry)
With the legal right of Gay marriage in many states the LDS Church is weighing the decision to start practicing Polygamy again. Several law suits have offered this opportunity to them to once again institute this. Ask yourself this, “if the prophet tomorrow said they were starting polygamy again due to falling membership and each worthy priesthood holder had to take a minimum of three wives, how would you react? how would your husband/wife react? Well get ready, its about to happen.
So, what does the LDS Church teach and have as its doctrine?

Elder D. Todd Christofferson stated:
“We have members in the church with a variety of different opinions and beliefs and positions on these issues,” Elder Christofferson said, “but … in our view it doesn’t become a problem unless someone is out attacking the church and its leaders, trying to get others to follow them, to draw others away, trying to pull people out of the church, or away from its teachings and doctrines. That’s very different for us, than someone who feels one way or another on a political stance or a particular action…to support a group.
In this comment made in February of 2015 Christofferson states that there are a variety of opinions and beliefs in the church. This would also say that many of the LDS Members don’t understand their doctrine and the church allows them to “believe” what they want.
